Ergonomics and Human Factors 2015
This April, BESiDE contributed to the International Conference on Ergonomics & Human Factors, 'Contemporary Ergonomics and Human Factors 2015'.
Ergonomics & Human Factors is the annual international conference of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics & Human Factors. Hosted in Daventry, this year’s conference attracted ergonomists and human factors specialists from around the world to present, workshop, showcase and discuss a broad range of human factors pertaining to focus areas including HCI, design, wellbeing, safety, defence and human performance.
BESiDE designer and researcher Sara Nevay attended the conference to share the paper, ‘The role of co-design in wearables adoption’ with this diverse and progressive community. (See here for the paper) where she discussed the project’s co-design methodologies to engage, inspire and create wearable artefacts to be worn by care home residents.
