BESiDE researcher Ian Ruaraidh Harrison was invited to join a meeting of Curl La Tourelle Architect's internal design forum. Ian presented an overview of the BESiDE project and led discussion on priorities in care home design and how knowledge informs architectural design.

The forum provided an engaged, welcoming and critical audience .  A fruitful discussion covered a wide range of issues, from approaches to continual improvement and managing risk aversion to the existing traditions of evidence use within architectural design and the important role precedent studies play within that.
